The team includes senior apprentice, artistic stylist, artistic designer, master stylist and master designer. They are passionate about their work and care deeply about how their clients look and feel when they leave the salon.

For me, my story is a little different then everyone else. I didn’t graduate high school knowing that I wanted to be in the cosmetology industry. I first studied fine arts, with a love for color theory, but in my studies something was missing. At the age of 24 I decided to totally change my path, and take my love of color and people to a new level. I finally know what I wanted; I wanted to be a hair stylist, and a color specialist.

Hair has always played a huge roll in my life. I remember staying up all night at the age of 8 to put rollers in my hair so I could look like Shirley Temple. When I was a little older I started dyeing strands of my friends blond hair with wild berries. I then moved on to doing hair and make up for all my high school's productions. Then in cosmetology school I got to use my skills in color theory to paint hair instead of canvas.

Shag86 is an amazing salon where I'm lucky to work with an amazing group of stylists and educators. Since I have started working here I've received extensive in salon training and I have also taken classes in New York with L'Oreal and Wella.

I am proud to say that by the end of this year I will be a Wella certified master colorist, and one huge step closer to my dream as a color specialist.
